We’re looking for the next Nulaber to join our New York City office.

The HR Coordinator will be working in a diverse and dynamic work environment, and will be a key member of the Operations team. This role requires a high level of data integrity, as the Nulaber will be exposed to confidential data which will be necessary to generate HR reports to support Global HR initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Overlooking all day-to-day HR support to colleagues at our New York office

  • Complete basic payroll tasks via Gusto

  • Measure engagement levels and implement initiatives and events to boost colleague engagement

  • Stay up to date on policy knowledge

  • Participate in testing for system implementations, upgrades, enhancements and assist with updating training materials and delivering training

  • Assist in hiring by coordinating screenings and assessments and creating new starter reports

  • Office maintenance duties, such as checking the post, keeping track of office expenses, and ensuring all Health and Safety measures are in place

  • Collaborate with the Global HR team by participating in HR projects and initiatives

  • Own the employee experience in the New York office, striving to maintain the great company culture Nulab is known for

  • Project manage any and all office/facilities related projects, including an office search and relocation when we outgrow our current space

  • Support management with a variety of tasks when required

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources, preferably within HR/People operations

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with sourcing techniques

  • Proven history of accuracy and compliance

  • Must be well organized with keen attention to detail with demonstrated effective follow-up skills

  • Self-driven and solution focused

  • Advanced experience with Google and Microsoft (Excel/Sheets, Word, Powerpoint) products, as well as the ability to pick up new systems quickly

  • Proven history of accuracy and compliance

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to engage professionally and enthusiastically via virtual meetings and email

  • Previous start-up experience is a big plus!
