Cacoo introduces dynamic charts!
When presenting a business idea or plan, providing data that supports your reasoning is a simple and effective way to gain buy-in. The problem with data is that our brains aren’t very good at understanding it quickly. Pass around a bloated spreadsheet to a room of stakeholders, and you’re likely to receive furrowed brows and sighs of impatience rather than enthusiasm.
The simple fact is that when it comes to understanding and assessing data, we are much more effective when we’re working visually. With clear visual representations, our brains can quickly recognize patterns, identify trends, and make the types of correlations that would be much more difficult to detect in a purely text-based form.
Because Cacoo was created to help you visualize your ideas and bring them to life, our newest feature is aimed at helping you visualize your data with our easy-to-use dynamic charts.
Types of dynamic charts
There are 3 types of charts to choose from, each with 2 different forms:
Bar (Vertical & Horizontal)
Line (Line & Area)
Pie (Pie & Donut)
Using dynamic charts
You’ll notice a new icon on the left-hand side of your Cacoo editor labeled “Chart.” All you have to do is select which chart you’d like to use, add your data to the data table, and stylize it to your liking.
If you have a large dataset, you can even import your data from either an Excel(.xls .xlsx) or CSV file (.csv).
You can then present your chart using Cacoo’s presentation mode or export it as an image to a PowerPoint (.ppt) file.
