New Backlog widget for Backlog for iOS
We have a number of great updates to share for our Backlog for iOS users today, including:
- Users can now sign up for Backlog using just the mobile app
- You can upload more file types on-the-go
- We released a Backlog widget
And more!
Sign up for Backlog
We started the mobile version of Backlog as a companion app for existing Backlog users. But recently, we noticed that new users were downloading the app and getting disappointed when they found out they couldn’t sign up directly.
Now, users can choose to log in or sign up if they don’t have an account.
More file upload types
In addition to photo and video uploads, now you can attach other file types to your Backlog issues.
Backlog for iOS widget
The new Backlog widget displays upcoming issues you have due soon. It also displays an add-issue button and three shortcuts to recently opened projects.
Auto-insert markdown syntax
Typing on mobile is hard. This little feature makes it easier by automatically inserting the syntax for your next list item.
Checkmark
Now you can tap the checkboxs in issue descriptions to mark items as done.
