Moving Typetalk’s Activity Log feature into Nulab Pass

We’re shaking up a few things at Nulab, and we want to make sure you all stay in the loop. As of April 28, 2023, Typetalk will discontinue Activity Log for paid plans and move this feature into Nulab Pass, our security subscription service that allows you to manage all your Nulab products in one place.

If you’d like to continue referring to Activity Log to track changes to your Typetalk topics, consider adding a Nulab Pass subscription. 

Why move?

Since its launch on October 5, 2017, the Activity Log feature for paid plans has made it easy to check your topic creation history. With this convenient feature, you can see who in your organization created or deleted a topic, updated the topic name and description, or changed which members have access to the topic.

Staying on top of every member’s activity is a challenge in a large organization. That’s why we started providing the Nulab Pass Audit Log feature on December 20, 2021, to keep you informed of how your team is using your Nulab products.

After receiving a lot of positive feedback from customers, we’re adding the Audit Log feature to not only Typetalk but also Backlog, Cacoo, and Nulab Account — a scalable managed account for enterprise teams that offers centralized security and streamlined user management. 

Don’t worry; all the capabilities of the Activity Log will still be available with Nulab Pass. The Audit Log feature simply provides a more detailed breakdown of operational events than the Activity Log in Typetalk. Nulab Pass also has a bulk download feature in CSV format that works as an audit log. If you’re using services such as Backlog or Cacoo along with Typetalk, you’ll be able to get the audit logs of those services without paying extra for each one.

We’re always looking for ways to make our products work better for you, and Nulab Pass will continue to enhance the security and governance of Nulab products.

Nulab Pass Audit Log validity period

Nulab Pass Audit Log will start to be saved after the subscription begins. If you sign up for Nulab Pass on August 24, 2022, Nulab Pass will store up to 13 months of operation logs on Typetalk from the start of your subscription, and you can download them at any time from the administrator page.

Please note that the current Typetalk Activity Log will not be transferred to Nulab Pass Audit Log, and even if you have subscribed to Nulab Pass, you won’t be able to refer to the Activity Log data on Typetalk after April 28, 2023.
