More efficient file uploading in Typetalk

In this release, posting file attachments on Typetalk has become much faster and more efficient.

Prior to this update, you had to wait for an attachment file to upload completely before you could post a message. Depending on your internet connection speed, this lag time could be tedious. Luckily, you’ll never have to wait for an upload again.

In this update, you can now send out a message immediately after selecting the attachment file. The file will upload in the background, and the message will automatically post once the upload is complete.

In addition, you will be able to view a thumbnail of files being uploaded. Large image files are also automatically resized to facilitate faster loading speed. Of course, you can download and view the file in its original size by clicking on its URL link.

Dear developers,

We have added support for `type` request parameter to “Download attachment” API for downloading the thumbnail image. In this version, “Get topic messages” has the “attachments” property, which includes the “thumbnails”.

We have made this possible by converting Unicode 6.0 emojis that you enter from the keyboard of your Android device such that your co-workers who are on the web browser or iOS can see these emoji’s too!
