New lightbox style image viewer and more

This week, we’ve introduced further improvements and new features on Typetalk to make it an even smarter tool for team collaborations. Read on to find out more about them.

Lightbox-style Image Viewer

Previously in Typetalk, images attached in messages had to be viewed in a separate window. With the newly implemented lightbox-style image viewer, you can now view images on an overlay modal window. This feature is less obtrusive and saves time.
To close an image, just click outside of it.

Thumbnail Preview of Attached Image Files

It’s hard to ensure that we always attach the right image files, especially when they are labelled with long strings of letters and numerics that don’t make a lot of sense. The thumbnail preview will enable you to get a brief view of the images you are uploading, so you will always get the right ones before posting them. Dragged the wrong image file? Simply click in the middle of the thumbnail to remove it instantly.

Auto Clear Mention Notifications & Others

Visiting a topic in which you’re mentioned will automatically clear the mention’s notification to save you the trouble of having to click on it specifically to mark it as read. We have also neatened up the Emoji panel (we’ve enlarged the icons a little), and carried out several bug fixes for an overall improvement in performance.
