New app shortcut on Backlog for Android

We’re always looking for ways to make managing your projects easier on the go. From adding issues to managing project settings, Backlog can empower your team wherever you use it.

In this update, you’ll notice the following:

• A new app shortcut for adding new issues
• A different landing screen when you open the app
• New project setting controls for managing project administrators

App shortcut to create new issues

If your device is running on Android 7.1 or above, you can create new issues faster using the new app shortcut action.

Main screen

To help you focus on what matters, we’ve changed which screen you land on when you open the app. Rather than seeing all activity, you’ll see the “My Issues” screen.

Settings for project administrators

From your Project Settings, you can control your Project Administrators.

Simply search for users to add or remove.
