Backlog by Nulab Releases Slack Integration

February 21, 2019

New integration will allow users to receive updates on their projects directly on Slack

Today, online project management and bug tracking software Backlog by Nulab launched its Slack integration. The new feature will allow over 1 million users worldwide to receive notifications about their projects directly on Slack without the need to be logged into their Backlog accounts.

“We are excited to work with Slack’s team to offer this new collaborative resource to our users. Our company’s mission is to make team collaboration easier, and enabling communication is a critical part of that,” said Shinsuke Tabata, Co-founder and CMO of Nulab. “When teams communicate efficiently, they are more successful. And this is very much in line with our ultimate goal: to empower our customers to achieve better results through seamless collaboration.” Slack is the latest addition to the portfolio of integrations offered by Backlog. Nulab’s project management and bug tracking software also allows its clients to create their own integrations with its application programming interface (API).

Used in more than 50 countries, Backlog by Nulab helps teams of all sizes manage and prioritize tasks and projects in one place while tracking their progress in real-time and ensuring clear communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Fully integrated with Git and SVN, the cloud-based software also offers software developers many features like tracking bugs, monitoring code changes, and hosting code securely in the cloud with private repositories.
