Cacoo unveils updated real-time collaborative editor

May 30, 2019

The diagramming software designed by Nulab now offers an easier and faster real-time collaboration.

Cacoo, one of the leading visual collaboration platforms in the market, released a new version of its real-time collaborative editor. Now teams can work together online on the same canvas more efficiently, with changes syncing in everyone’s screen and edits becoming visible as they happen.

Cacoo’s more than 3 million users gain an improved and powerful perspective on their projects’ creative processes. Individuals and organizations of all sizes – including professionals, companies, NGOs, universities and students – have an additional instrument to enhance ideas sharing, implement plans, unleash creativity, and optimize workflow overall.

The real-time editor is just one of the recent features announced in the past weeks by Nulab’s cloud-based diagramming software.

In a professional world where companies depend more and more on visual tools to organize projects and product releases, Cacoo is aiming to accelerate productivity, collaboration, and innovation with a series of new key features.

Among them:

  • An improved dashboard that makes navigating folders and charts easier and empowers teams to work more efficiently.
  • A new mention feature conceived to speed up communication by allowing to tag users and use emojis directly inside the comments of a diagram.
  • New AWS icons that, along with the AWS importer, dynamize the drawing of the AWS architecture.

These new updates and features are part of Nulab’s plan to increase the communication, creative, and diagramming capabilities of its cloud-based visual platform.

With team members located in different time zones and projects run across multiple departments, Cacoo is designed to ensure true collaboration and drive productivity.

Thanks to a combination of data visualization and online storage, Cacoo enables individuals and teams to work on complex tasks while having all the information they need in one single place.

“These new collaborative options are just the tip of the iceberg. In the next months, we will be releasing new updates, features, and integrations that will further improve the user experience in our ever-changing diagramming software” commented Shinsuke Tabata, Co-founder and CMO of Nulab. “Our mission is to provide people with a dynamic and modern platform that supports creativity. We want to offer customers a tool they can use to create and share data-rich visuals with the ultimate goal to run projects smoothly through collaboration and feedback.”

Used by over 3 million users worldwide, Cacoo is a cost-effective, cloud-based productivity platform. The software gives the ability to create, store, and work with diagrams from anywhere in the world using an Internet connection. Cacoo also offers integrations with several other productivity tools such as Google Drive, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Confluence.
