  2. [Important notification] Termination of Backlog Multilingual Options and Support For All Languages Except Japanese and English

Announcements

Dear customer,

First of all, thank you for using Nulab’s project management app, Backlog.

Unfortunately, we have sad news for some of our users: we are terminating multilingual options and support for all languages except Japanese and English.

Backlog currently has multilingual options and support for six languages: Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean. However, after reviewing our development resources alongside our future service improvement goals, we have decided that what’s best for our product and, ultimately, customer satisfaction is to limit our language options to two languages: Japanese and English.

This means we are terminating options and support for the following four languages:

  • Simplified Chinese
  • Traditional Chinese
  • Vietnamese
  • Korean

Moving forward, Japanese and English will be our only supported languages.

This applies to all of the below Backlog-related services and user support:

Schedule of Termination

The termination will take effect in two stages.

January 31st, 2017(JST)

New Backlog, Backlog for iPhone, and Backlog for Android users will see language options for Japanese and English, only.

Existing Backlog users who have selected a language other than Japanese or English will have the option to continue using that language until September 30th, 2017. However, all new functions will display in English.

Existing Backlog for iPhone and Backlog for Android users will see language options limited to Japanese and English from the above date (January 31st, 2017).

Existing Japanese and English language users will not be affected by the change.

September 30th, 2017(JST)

All multilingual options and support for languages other than Japanese and English will terminate. Existing users of Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean languages will see all functions displayed in English.

Please accept our sincerest apologies to the users of Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean languages. By simplifying our language offering, Nulab developers and staff will have more time and resources to dedicate towards creating new product functions, boosting customer satisfaction, and tightening security. We hope you continue to enjoy our services.
