- Release notes for February 2024
Product Updates
It’s been a while (hello, 2022), but we’re excited to be back with regular updates about Cacoo. We’ve got a lot to catch up on, so let’s dive in.
TL; DR
Updated folder permissions, an easier way to identify a line’s start and end points, and the ability to select multiple locked shapes at once.
IMPROVEMENTS
- Updated folder permissions: Now only diagram owners can move a diagram to another folder.
- Assigning issues from sticky notes: Leave the assignee field empty when creating a Backlog issue from a sticky note.
- Icons refresh: Icons in the global navigation’s help menu were updated.Â
- Selecting locked shapes: Select multiple locked shapes at the same time.Â
- Chart legends: Large chart legends are truncated with the option to enlarge the chart or open the data table.
- Line start and end points: Identify a line’s start and end points with tooltip copy on the line and in the editor menu.
- Text alignment: Selected text alignment is now reflected in the editor menu icon.
- Switching shapes: Style settings are maintained when you switch shapes.
FIXED
- Users couldn’t return to Cacoo after signing in.
- Links added to shapes weren’t showing in real-time to diagram collaborators.
- The link icon was being pushed outside the borders of small shapes.
- Scrolling a sheet was slow when editing text within a shape.
- The folder dropdown menu was empty when the owner of the open diagram was no longer a folder collaborator.
That’s a wrap for February. We’re looking forward to sharing more updates with you next month.
