Uses of How Might We Template
How might we (HMW) is an engaging brainstorming tool that rephrases problems as “How might we?” questions. This simple reframing forces participants to think outside of the box and approach problems from different angles, leading to creative solutions.
How to create your How Might We Template
Open the how we might template in Cacoo.
Before the meeting, add the problems you want to address to the different boards in the template. You can add more boards if needed.
Reframe the problems as questions. You can do this before the meeting or together as a team.
Invite everyone to add their solutions using sticky notes to each “How might we?” board. Encourage them to add any idea that comes to mind without self-editing.
Once everyone’s ideas are posted, ask them to vote on their top three for each board using emojis.
Discuss the top ideas, and set up another meeting to develop an action plan.
