Basic Resume Template
Uses of Basic Resume Templates
Putting together or redoing a resume can be overwhelming since we tend to do it when we’re already applying for internships, scholarships, or jobs. Get a head start on your applications with this basic resume template that highlights your experience and skills in a clean, professional way.
How to create your Basic Resume Template
Gather all your background information including education, jobs, certifications, volunteer work, and skills.
Open the basic resume template in Cacoo.
Fill in the information in each section, keeping in mind keywords for your industry.
Add, remove, duplicate, or rename sections based on your needs.
When you’re done, look at areas where you can cut, clarify, or edit the content. Remember that the person reviewing your resume is likely looking at a lot of them, so you want to keep it short, clear, and impactful.
Personalize your resume by changing the font or accent colors. Just make sure it doesn’t make the resume hard to read.
Remove everything from the diagram aside from your resume, and export your final version as a PDF to share.
